  James Leitner Proctor, after high school graduation, went to Colo. in 1934. Here he did some gold mining then was stationed at Manitou Springs., Colo. with the CCC. James Married Geraldine Green while in this area. They then made a number of moves-- Archer, Fla.; Newport News, Va.; Wichita, Kan.--they remained in Wichita for 16 years. (James with Cudahy Packing Co., Gerry with Wichita Public library) then in 1966 they moved to the old Proctor home Summerfield.
