  Recalled by Fannie Priest Kipp--Sarah Leitner Priest took great joy in telling this story about her sister Susan Anne, her brother John and herself. "One day I had to strain the fresh milk so I yelled out, 'Oh, Susan Anne, where's the strainer rag?' 'On Brother John's sore leg', came the reply. I called back, 'Go! hurry, and give it a dip in the duck pond! I do abom-m-m-inate nast-i-ness!" Then came Grandma Sarah's laughter in her deep voice.
