Webmaster Note:  This whole line of Proctor Ancestors is currently under review for better documentation and support.  Any information to clarify and support entries would be greatly appreciated in the effort to present the best information available for all Proctor Researchers.

Note: An Ancient Planter paid for his own passage, that of his wife and children and servants. Joshua Proctor, John Proctor, and Anthony Proctor apparently paid their own passage. However, Thomas Proctor, Ambrose Proctor all served indentures for their passage and head rights were granted for the passage of their families.

Joshua Proctor emigrated to the Colonies in 1618.

Joshua Proctor arrived at James City Co., Va. Abt 1618. vol.2 p24
